our mission

we make donuts that make it safer for people to talk, to feel, to ask for help, and to be human.

every donut sold helps fund:

  • conversations that matter: free gatherings that reduce stigma and deepen empathy.
  • peer support circles: lived-experience spaces for connection and collective healing.
  • our social impact fund: no-barrier support for anyone facing crisis or needing help without waitlists, long intake forms or red tape.

one donut and conversation at a time, we’re shaping a world where connection, care, and belonging are part of everyday life and no one feels alone in what they’re carrying.

our vision

we believe a more empathetic and understanding world is possible... one where fewer lives are lost to suicide, addiction, violence and intolerance.

when we feel safe enough to share what’s real, and brave enough to truly listen to each other, we don’t just heal… we do better for one another and make it a safer world for people to stay and to ask for help.

OUR CORE VALUES

mental health & wellbeing

we put people before productivity. it’s okay to rest, struggle, ask for help, and be human. we don’t push through pain to perform. we check in, name what we need, and support each other as whole people.

deep care

care is baked into every donut, every conversation, every interaction. we lead with empathy. we choose presence over perfection, curiosity over judgment, and connection over speed.

self expression & child-like joy

we make space for who we really are, including the quiet parts, the silly parts, the creative parts, and everything in between.

we believe in following what lights us up and creating spaces where laughter and authenticity are welcome, without needing to hide, shrink or put on a mask.

belonging

we build spaces where identities are respected, differences are celebrated, and no one is left outside the circle.

we care about people feeling safe to be themselves without needing to perform or earning their place at the table.

courage

this looks like honesty, trying again, asking questions, and staying open.. even when it’s uncomfortable. we’re willing to experiment, learn out loud, and keep growing.

integrity & accountability

we hold ourselves to standards that protect our community with truthfulness, transparency, and responsibility. we follow through, own our impact, and repair when harm happens

OUR CORE BELIEFS

connection is essential

we’re wired to need each other. loneliness doesn’t just hurt, it harms and ends lives.

small moments of real, genuine connection can change, or even save, someone’s life.

healing happens in community

one of the most powerful paths to healing happens when we are witnessed in our pain without someone turning away from us. it's not about fixing each other or having all the answers, it's about reminding one another we don’t have to do this alone.

shame thrives in silence
& silence keeps us apart

when we stay quiet about what hurts, we carry it alone, and shame grows.

but when we speak it out loud, we make space for healing, connection, and shared understanding. these honest, messy conversations are how we find our way back to each other.

food brings us together

across cultures, food is how we show love,
make peace, celebrate, grieve, and gather. it’s a love language that softens us and helps us feel safe enough to connect.

we chose donuts because they’re whole, circular, and a reminder that no one is left outside the circle.

joy is a birthright

joy doesn’t need to be earned, and it’s not something fake we use to pretend everything’s okay. joy is about finding light, even when things feel dark and impossible.

laughter creates safety

when we get a little messy or silly, it lowers the pressure and helps us connect without armour. we use play not to bypass the hard stuff, but to make it easier to go into.
