this session will bring together lived experience stories and practical tools to equip our community in preventing overdose and reducing stigma.
together we’ll explore the realities of substance use, from prescription medications to party drugs to addiction, and why overdose prevention is a community responsibility.
you’ll hear stories and we’ll also share how to access and use naloxone kits, break down common myths, and learn why harm reduction saves lives. every participant will leave with knowledge, resources, and the understanding that overdose prevention is a collective responsibility…just like first aid.
who should attend?
Teachers, parents, youth, employers, and community members…anyone who cares about making the Bow Valley a safer place for everyone.
